Refund policy

If you're not satisfied with your Modern Mom HQ membership, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. That applies to your first payment and to any renewal payment, counted from the date that payment was taken.

You don't need to justify the request. If the library isn't what you hoped, if the season of motherhood you're in doesn't need it right now, or if you simply changed your mind — that's reason enough.

Modern Mom HQ is operated by Jaime McLaughlin, an individual sole proprietor trading as Modern Mom HQ. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, who handles billing and refunds on our behalf. The fastest way to request a refund is to visit paddle.net, enter the email address you used at checkout, and open the order you'd like refunded.

You can also email us and we'll pass the request along — include the email address you used at checkout so we can find your order.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once approved, most refunds appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

A free account costs nothing and never expires: you can read one prompt in every category without entering a card, so you can judge the writing before you pay. Free accounts are never charged.

You can cancel a paid membership at any time from your account page or through paddle.net. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.

If a renewal caught you by surprise, email hello@getmodernmomhq.com within the 30-day window and we'll refund it.

When a refund is issued, member access ends and your account returns to the free tier — one free prompt in every category and no prompt builder. Prompts you saved stay in your account, but member-only features — the prompt builder, full library access, collections and export — are no longer available.

You're welcome to re-subscribe later at the pricing available at that time.

We may decline a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse — for example, repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles on the same account or payment method, bulk downloading of the library followed immediately by a refund request, or a chargeback filed without first contacting us or Paddle.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country, including any statutory right to cancel. Where local law gives you more than this policy does, local law applies.

We may update this refund policy from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your order is the one that applies to that order.
